Elderberry Plant - Sambucus canadensis

Very easy to grow small tree that produces delicate white flowers that become tiny black berries with an abundance of juice. Known to be excellent for a wide range of medicinal purposes, these berries are high in antioxidants and can be called a ‘superfood’. Elderberries can be used fresh, dried, juiced or cooked. Flowers are used to make syrups. These plants can tolerate a wide range of soil conditions, although will not tolerate drought terribly well.
