Golden Feverfew - Tanacetum parthenium 'aureum'
Eighth of a teaspoon of open pollinated seeds from our gardens for $4.00.
Golden Feverfew - Tanacetum parthenium 'aureum' is one of my favourite fillers for floral arrangements. It is a species of chrysanthemum that has been grown in herb and medicinal gardens for centuries. It is a clump-forming, dwarf cultivar which grows only 20 to 30cm tall and features small daisy-like flowers and chartreuse aromatic foliage. Feverfew is a hardy evergreen perennial that can with stand temperatures down to -15C. It flowers profusely during late spring and through summer. This isn't a fussy plant, its only requirement is full sun. Depending on your climate, feverfew is a biennial or short-lived perennial. Cut back after flowering to encourage more blooms.
Seeds can be sown in pots or directly sown after all danger of frost has passed.
