Gypsophila paniculata 'Bristol Fairy'
Gypsophila 'Bristol Fairy', commonly called baby's breath, is a herbaceous, tap rooted perennial. Plants grow between 60cm to 90cm tall with a similar spread and form a densely branched, rounded habit. Loose, highly branched panicles of small, white, double flowers, bloom from summer into autumn. Gypsophlia provides excellent contrast and texture to the perennial border. Trim plants lightly immediately after blooming to encourage re-bloom.
Gypsophlia likes a well-drained, alkaline soil and full sun.
Baby's Breath is widely used as an accent in cut-flower arrangements as well as dried bouquets.
