Linaria maroccana
$4.00Price
An eigth of a teaspoon of open pollinated seeds from our gardens for $4.00.
Linaria maroccana or affectionately called 'Fairy Flax' when it was introduced in 1872, is an erect, slender annual plant with small lance-shaped fleshy, emerald green leaves. The long-spurred, two-lipped, snapdragon-like flowers appear in Spring in a multitude of bright colours. Plants grow to a height of around 50 to 60cm with a spread of 25 to 30cm.
Linaria maroccana is very easy to grow, requiring no special care. I direct sowed my seeds in autumn, in a semi shaded area at the base of my Sweet Peas.
