This is an amazing group of plants that are tough as. They handle our cold winters and hot summers providing a stunning display of flowers at the end of summer. These plants are excellent feature plants, grow them near grasses or even as a hedge. The flowers are also used in floral arrangements both fresh and dry.
Sedums are very easy to grow. They prefer full sun but can handle some shade and well drained soil. It doesn’t get much easier than this. Since these plants do not require much water, they are perfect for dry gardens. At the end of autumn, the plants will die back, leaving the flower heads for winter interest.
Bees and butterflies love these flowers.
