Shipping

Unfortunately we are unable to keep abreast of all quarantine restrictions that may be applicable to each country and/or state.  All orders are shipped on the understanding this responsibility is with the purchaser.

Orders are posted every Wednesday. 

An email will be sent to let you know your order has been posted.

AUSTRALIAN SEED ORDERS

 

Postage within Australia (all states except WA and NT) starts at $4.00.

This postage does not have tracking and does not include insurance.

If parcels are lost in transit we are unable to assist you. 

In this case you will need to contact Australia Post.

Registered Post is available, this is the only way you can obtain a tracking number

for standard mail. Select this option at the checkout.  Registered Post starts at $9.00.

All orders are insured to cover loss and damages.

Orders over $100 will have 'Extra Cover' included in the postage fees.  

If you would like Express Post, please note this in the comments section at the checkout.

We will contact you if there is any additional postage costs.

Australian orders may take 3 to 14 days to arrive. 

However, public holidays and peak postage times will cause mail to be much slower.

INTERNATIONAL SEED ORDERS

At checkout you will notice that there is no fee for postage.

The reason for this is that it is much easier for us to calculate the cost of postage individually.

We will either send you a payment request via paypal or email you to arrange payment.

Orders are held until payment of postage is completed.    

Phytosanitary Certificates are available for a fee.

USA "Small Seed Lot Permit"

This is a requirement of the United States for imported seeds and we strongly recommend all orders being shipped to the United States to obtain it.  This permit will protect your order from being confiscated by the United States Customs. 

PLANTS

To be covered by insurance plants must be sent via Express Post.

We will send most plant orders in batches of around 20 plants with insurance.

If plants arrive in a manner not satisfactory, please contact us.

In most cases we will advise you to take the plants to Australia Post to lodge a claim.

We will assist as much as we can with any claims that are lodged with Australia Post.

Please take photos of your parcel and the condition of the plants immediately on arrival. 

Since it is difficult to calculate an exact price for parcels, we may over charge you for postage.  

If this does occur, we will refund you any additional fees charged.

Postage of Plants

Where possible we prefer to send our plants bare rooted. This means they are posted without soil.  Plants are freshly dug on the day they are posted. washed and trimmed. They are then wrapped in damp paper towel and sealed in one of our biodegradable bags.
